Why do people love the chocolate and banana combination? I find cooked banana (with the exception of pisang goreng) way too gooey and even if it's not gooey, the chocolate makes the whole concoction taste weird.
I was fooled into eating a chocolate banana cake once coz it looked really yum but I lived to regret.

how abt those banana pies from mcdonald's? they are like pisang goreng in a different form. haha.
they should just sell pisang goreng...
i think it's something about banana being a natural fulfilling food by itself and chocolate being an aphrodisiac food. wait a minute, there's no connection there. hmm. well, for what it's worth, my mom and grandma love the combination to bits. and moms are.... always right..? :P
Banoffee pies...is that a banana and coffee combination? Hmmmm... don't know about that but I'll give it a shot next time I see one.
Do McDs actually sell banana pies? I think I have so much against banana desserts that I psychologically block it out. I've looked at their menu a thousand times and completely not noticed!
A satisfying food + an aphrodisiac sounds like a recipe for disaster. You get turned on but can't do much about it coz you're too darn full! Mums are almost always right but I'm going with my own gut on the banana thing.
